Normally, I can tell immediately if I'm going to want to read a book solely based on the synopsis and cover - this one I was on the fence about.  I like the cover, but I don't like that all three books have the same cover but different faces... It throws me off a little....  and I like the synopsis but it doesn't pull me in.  So I went onto Amazon and read through the reviews left there.
After reading through some of them, I have decided that I will absolutely be adding this one to my TBR pile!  I'm a sucker for a story line that makes people write reviews like this one.....

Wow. Definitely the most intriguing, most disturbing and disconcerting book I have read this year. If you are looking for something different and you do not mind feeling disturbed and uncomfortable, Sicarii is a great choice for you.  This is a pure gem of unique storytelling. I couldn't put it down and now I am nursing a serious book hangover I haven't experienced for a long time.
Gripping writing style, gut wrenching and thought provoking plotline, the most exciting group of characters and so much heartbreak. You need to take the warnings seriously as there are quite a bit of triggering elements (sexual, physical abuse and violence)along the way.
Be patient at the beginning until things make sense then you'll get sucked into this universe the author created.
You will experience feelings and gut twisting emotions you have probably never had, will get drawn into an unimaginable world of disturbing reality and will be definitively taken outside your comfort zone, meeting brilliant characters with intriguing background stories and follow the few love stories woven into the mix. Highly recommended.
