were in that coffee shop,” Elle murmurs with a hint of what sounds like dismay
while her nails skate over the muscles that flank my ribs. “He was sweet. He
was funny. He was cute. He was all of that even though he was obviously having
a shitty morning.” She pulls her head away to glower at me. “That’s the guy I
want.”
I cage my arms around her
waist and slam our bodies together, gritting my teeth to growl, “I 𝑎𝑚
that guy.”
She flattens her palms against
my chest as if holding me at bay. “You’re 𝘯𝘰𝘵.”
