Author D. Fischer has done it again! Book Two hooks you from the beginning then takes you on an adventure full of drama, betrayals, twists and turns and ends on a note that leaves you yearning for book three to be released already! (not a cliffhanger though - thank goodness!!) I devoured every word of this book like the first in the series. The authors writing style is so beautiful - it's like I am right there with Jinx, seeing what she is seeing, feeling what she is feeling... I cannot wait to see what Book Three brings to the table!!

This is the first book I have read by author D. Fischer and it certainly will not be my last! I was pleasantly surprised at how easily and quickly her writing style, character build-up and story-line foundation hooked me in. I actually got myself into trouble with the Mrs. the first day I started reading this book because I lost track of time and forgot to get anything out for dinner, let alone do any of the laundry we had piled up 😆 The Trouble With Beasts is full of kick-ass girl power, smoldering fantasy and paranormal action that will leave you wanting more! I know I am very much looking forward to the next two books in the series!
