Tutus & Cowboy Boots
Part Two

A sweet, small-town romance that will take you on an emotional roller coaster of tears and laughter.

After an eventful Christmas break, Cadence Lewis is shaken to her core, but someone she doesn’t expect is there to hold her together.

Barrick Carpenter didn’t plan on falling in love with the sassy, New Yorker, but now he will do anything to protect her from her father.

When a second bombshell is dropped on Cadence, she has two options: guard her heart forever or risk letting love in.  Will Cadence push Barrick away or fall completely head over boots?

Can you, for those who don't know you already, tell something about yourself and how you became an author?

It’s actually quite interesting.  I wasn’t an avid reader or writer growing up, but after I had my daughter, reading was a way to escape the everyday business.  That soon turned into a blog, Hardcover Therapy.  One year later, I began writing my first series- the Full Circle Series.
What is something unique/quirky about you?

Where were you born/grew up at?
I was born in Gastonia, North Carolina, but have lived in Shelby, North Carolina my entire life except while in college.

If you knew you'd die tomorrow, how would you spend your last day?
With my family at home

Who is your hero and why?
My mom.  She’s always been a fighter in life.  She also is one of the most caring individuals I know.

What kind of world ruler would you be?
Fair.  I’m a teacher by day and I’m one that is a rule follower.  There is no grey areas with me.

What do you do to unwind and relax?
I unwind and relax on the back deck at home with my husband, daughter and any friends that stop by.  I also enjoy a great cider or muscadine wine while reading a book.  You also can usually find me hitting the pavement running 4-5 days a week.

How to find time to write as a parent?
This use to be a very easy question.  When I first started this writing adventure, I had a lot of time on my hands as a mom.  Carlee, my daughter, has danced competitively since she was four.  Therefore, I had 2-3 hours per day to write while she was at the studio.  She has now decided to golf and cheer which has changed this time.  Lately, I write when I have down time at work or home alone.

Do you have a favorite movie?
Hope Floats and Sweet Home Alabama are so equal in my eyes <3  They also are the style of my writing as well.

Which of your novels can you imagine made into a movie?
Actually, a very close writing friend and myself have written the screenplay for Tutus & Cowboy Boots.  I think it would make an awesome series for teens.  However, I’d love to see Southern Perfection.

As a writer, what would you choose as your mascot/avatar/spirit animal?
A mason jar because I’m all about a sweet clean southern romance.

Casey Peeler grew up in North Carolina and still lives there with her husband and daughter.
Growing up Casey wasn't an avid reader or writer, but after reading Their Eyes Were Watching God by Zora Neal Hurston during her senior year of high school, and multiple Nicholas Sparks' novels, she found a hidden love and appreciation for reading.  That love ignited the passion for writing several years later, and her writing style combines real life scenarios with morals and values teenagers need in their daily lives.
When Casey isn't writing, you can find her near a body of water listening to country music with a cold beverage and a great book.
